ARtist is an iOS app for tracing and drawing from reference images in the live camera. This policy explains what the app uses on your device, what it stores locally, and what it does not collect.
Accounts, servers, and data collection
ARtist does not require account creation, sign-up, or login.
ARtist does not collect personal data on the developer's servers.
The current version does not use a backend for accounts, cloud sync, or analytics.
ARtist does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
Camera, Photos, and local files
Camera access is used to provide the live tracing and drawing experience.
Photo library access is used to import reference images and save exported videos to Photos.
Processing happens on-device, including the live camera workflow used for tracing.
Imported references and generated files are stored locally on your device.
Exported videos are saved to your Photos library only when you choose to export them.
Deleting imported references
Users can delete imported references from inside the app. Deleting an imported reference from ARtist removes the local in-app copy, but it does not remove the original item from the Photos app.
